Saving data in z-table when using BDC..??

Hi expects,

     i'm new to SAP.! i want to upload data  in z table using BDC Program.! My problems is, in z table all data-elements size are 15 .! but excel data in some fields just 7 to 9 ../ if i upload excel file means all fields datas are collapsed and stored in ztable ,/ it take only that fields exactly 15 only./

( EX: NAME(15) ; if excel have only only 7 char / next fields(PINCODE) values stored in 'NAME' fields )
