To install EPM connector, just go to File >> Manage Add Ons, then click on Install and try the following path:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\EPM Add-In\EPMConnector"

There are a few documents such as the link below, but most of them are not up to date and there are some inconsistencies in BO 4.1.

Just be aware that BPC data grid is no longer available in BO 4.1.
